Creating vision boards are a helpful tool to manifest positive outcomes for the things we want. You’ve heard the saying, “you have to speak things into existence.” The vision board provides a pictorial focus. Goals seem attainable when you can visualize them. Many people attribute their success to the compilation and dedication to their vision boards.
What should be on your vision board? Some believe it should contain all of your hopes and desires. Others think it should have the goals you intend to achieve. Are your hopes and desires the goals you plan to achieve? The answer varies depending on your audience. One size doesn’t fit all. Every person is multi-faceted. What some may want for business doesn’t match what they would want in a relationship. Hence, each aspect of your life will require a different objective.
No rule states you should only have one vision board. You can have a different board for each aspect of your life. They should contain items that are in your near or distant future. If you are fortunate to have the necessities in life, those items should be excluded from your chart. Create a board for financial goals, relationship goals, and health goals, etc. Of course, your vision boards should be practical to keep the items within reach.
How do you create a vision board? It is a simple task. You will need a piece of construction paper, glue, scissors, a pen or pencil, and printed pictures or photos from a magazine. Organize the photographs on the construction paper clusters as they relate to your vision. Once you are happy with the arrangement, glue them down and write a caption to identify what the collection of photos represent to you. Display your vision board in a place where you will always see it as a reminder of what you want to achieve.
Vision boards are plans for your future. You need to have a plan to be successful. The board is a guide. Without a path, the road ahead is uncharted, and it will take you longer to arrive at your end game.
