2019 is coming to a rapid end. It is not only the end of a year. It is the end of the second decade in this new millennium. If you have not already done so, now is the time to plan out your 2020 vision. In the upcoming year, I have so many wonderful plans that I hope to bring to fruition. Aside from wishing for continued good health and prosperity, I intend to grow my business and expanding my platform. Planning is a primary key to reaching your goals. As the saying goes, you have to have a plan or plan to fail. Here are a few things on the horizon for J.E-H Publishing:
2020 Vision Initiatives
Add authors to client roster
Currently, we have two (2) authors under the J.E-H Publishing label. A new debut author is finally ready to unveil a great work. Look for a two-part series next summer coming in the fantasy genre that I believe you are going to love. I cannot wait for this release. All I am going to say that it is a cross between Avatar and The Chronicles of Narnia. It is full of whimsy and wonder. I am not a big fan of reading Fantasy, but this author is changing my enthusiasm. We also have (2) two new budding authors who recently signed to debut their novel and short stories. Our own Ariel R. Mendez will release a new series of books in the Children’s book genre. Her debut “From the Mind of a Five-Year-Old” two-part series was a big hit.
Increase marketing budget and strategy
It’s time to take this show back on the road. You will be seeing me at more live events in 2020. Our marketing campaigns will be across social media platforms and our book signings will hit several new markets. Some time ago, I received excellent advice from a grassroots organization in Virginia Beach, Virginia. They said, “if you want to be seen, then you have to make some noises.” J.E-H Publishing intends to make a lot of noise in 2020.
Release five (5) new books
We have four (4) fiction books, two (2) in the genre of mystery/thriller, one (1) in the coming of age genre, and one (1) in the romance genre. Then we are adding one (1) non-fiction to the list. All of the books are in the final editing stage. These books will drop one after the other at the beginning of my 2020 vision.
Release seven (7) audiobooks
Never let it be said that you cannot repurpose content. What is old becomes new again as I go through my catalog and create audiobooks from novels in the collection. The first book converted to audio will be “The Confidant Tells.” Look for it in mid-January 2020. Others to make it to audio will include “The Adventures of Johns, James and Jack” series, and “Charlie the Hood Houdini” series.
These are a few of the 2020 vision initiates that will enhance the foothold of J.E-H Publishing. What’s your 2020 vision?
