I’ve reconciled my life story with the one I experienced last year. The challenges were odd, and the successes were few, but thankfully, I made it through it all. It’s been a while since I’ve had the motivation, chance, and enthusiasm to communicate. Yes, even writers get a little burnt out. At least I’ll be the first one to write it out loud. As we all wipe the slate clean to expose a blank canvas, we’ve reached a time to begin again. Here is what I can do better in the immediate future to improve my opportunity to have a great 2025.
Improving my consistency with communication will aid me in growing my audience and connecting with readers. I’ve got to get back to basics with blogging, podcasting, and being active on social media.
The writing regimen needs an entire overhaul. I’ve got to commit to writing at least 10,000 words a month, be it chapters, blogging, or scripting dialogue. I have been lax over the past twelve months, which is a recipe for no progress.
Full-on, in-your-face engagement is necessary to understand what motivates readers. I’ll be doing live streams each day. One is to get comfortable with the idea of being a watched subject, and the second objective is to create awareness about my craft and why people should take a chance on one of my books.
I’ll start with these three stakes so as not to overwhelm myself. Piling too much on my plate is how I got burnt out in the first place. You always need to have a starting point to make things shake. The time to begin again starts with these three key points because here is what I will do better over the first quarter. Yes, I’m laying it out quarter by quarter. As I do my check-ins, I will tweak where necessary to reach a favorable outcome.
