How to Focus in a Crisis

Life has been throwing curveballs my way consistently. In the past six months, all my motivation has been focused on keeping my head above water. I’ll admit, I’ve been underwater a few times. There’s never a comfortable moment when everything is falling around me. Yet I continue to move forward. It’s about learning how to focus in a crisis. My daily life changes by the hour. I’ve gone from routine, mundane activities to survival tactics. I can’t tell if these are challenges that I need to experience or punishment for some wrong I committed in another life. All I know is that I need to stay on my toes to combat what lies ahead. The simple tasks I took for granted now feel like impossible feats as I learn how to focus in a crisis.

Ways to Focus in a Crisis

Prayer

Each day when I get in my vehicle, I say my prayers so I can get through the day. It’s nothing fancy or complicated. I ask for protection for my family and me, for those they love, for safe travel, and for whatever abundance is necessary to get me through these hard times.

Good Vibes

Practice positive thinking to keep the good vibes flowing in the right direction. I’ve heard that you need to be a bit delusional to channel the kind of manifestation needed to overcome obstacles. Adopting this mindset when things are constantly going wrong is difficult. Yet I try my best to keep my head up and hope for the best outcome.

Occasional Wins

Every now and again, something good has to happen. It’s the occasional wins that keep the momentum to succeed alive and well. A small achievement is motivation to move forward.

With the economy out of whack, it’s a miracle I’ve managed to slow my free fall. I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling the pinch of the higher cost of living, including food, shelter, and fuel. However, we muddle through until we reach the other side of this period. I’m in a constant battle to learn how to focus in a crisis because every day feels like a crisis in my current life.
